Epitalon (epithalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide modeled on a natural pineal gland regulatory peptide. Research has studied its proposed role as a telomerase activator in select cell models, along with investigation of its effects on pineal melatonin regulation and circadian research, and its use in Russian gerontology research literature on cellular senescence.
