Adipotide (FTPP) is a peptidomimetic conjugate linking a fat-vasculature-homing sequence (targeting prohibitin on adipose blood vessel endothelium) to a pro-apoptotic KLAKLAK domain. Research has studied its selective induction of apoptosis in the vascular endothelium supplying white adipose tissue, examined in models of adipose tissue mass regulation.
